As a kid growing up both in Southwest Florida and Nova Scotia, Canada - I was always that kid who was first to disappear into the forests, swamps and hills after school and usually last to return home late for dinner. Fast forward years later when I was already working as a full-time photographer and eventually completing my master naturalist training, I'm still disappearing into the wilderness constantly, and now it's a big part of what I do to make a living. It was a very natural progression and something that I still love and care about passionately to this very day.
